As a cook at North Fork, you will be performing your trade front and center and you will play an extremely important role in the overall guest experience and satisfaction. We are looking for individuals that are passionate about quality food and cooking, have good attention to detail, are reliable with a strong work ethic and possess good communication skills.

Qualifications and duties, but not limited to:     

  • Ability to prepare and cook dishes to menu specification as well as understanding and following recipes. 
  • Possess basic cooking knowledge with good knife skills.
  • Able to safely handle kitchen tools and equipment and follow sanitation guidelines.
  • Must be dependable, punctual and organized and willing to follow direction. 
  • Able to communicate effectively, have a positive attitude and works well in a team environment.  
  • Adheres to and complies with North Fork policies and procedures and willing to follow directions. 
  • Performs additional duties as directed by management.
  • Ability to stand for an entire shift.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as needed.
 
 
 

Dishwasher

Maintain dishwashing station(s) to support operations with loss prevention and proper health & sanitation.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain cleanliness of Dish Station.
  • Basic Kitchen line support and assistance with organization of kitchen.
  • Consistently follows all health & sanitation guidelines.
  • Proper equipment maintenance and correct use of cleaning methods for kitchen equipment.
  • General Restaurant cleanliness to include, floors, restrooms, walls, windows & kitchen stations.
  • Performs job without having to be constantly reminded of expectations and procedures
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as needed.
 
 
 

Server/Bartender/busser/runner/bar back/host

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Works in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment to provide a dining experience to guests which distinguishes our restaurant as having great food, a diverse selection of wine, spirits and craft beer. 
    • Providing a superior guest experience while greeting and establishing rapport with the guest and delivering an exceptional dining experience by guiding guests through menus while demonstrating thorough knowledge of the food, beverages and ingredients. 
    • Accurate order taking and partnering with team members to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests expectations. 
    • Provide knowledgeable, approachable, efficient, energetic, and thoughtful service at all times. 
    • Confident and correct use of POS system for order entry and payment processing. 
    • Ensure proper table maintenance, including water service, pre-bussing, etc. 
    • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant. 
    • Support team members in the completion of their duties to ensure satisfaction of all guests before, during, and after service. 
    • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of service tools and service areas. 
    • Stocking and preparing service related items. 
    • Adhere to all company service standards and protocols. 
    • Adhere to grooming and dress code standards. 
    • Proper enforcement of all Oregon liquor laws and North Fork policies. 
    • Minimum 2 years serving experience in a high volume environment. 
    • Strong food and beverage knowledge and a passion for the service industry. 
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • Must possess exceptional work ethic, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude. 
    • Receptive to constructive criticism and performance feedback. 
    • Ability to demonstrate quick thinking and adaptability in a constantly changing environment. 
    • Able to stand for long period of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Working weekends or some holidays should be doable.
